Kate is originally from Kansas and has been a professional performer since the age of 6 when she had the privilege to share the stage with Bob McGrath from Sesame Street. She also fell in love with teaching kids through the performing arts as a summer camp director and knew she'd found her passion. She graduated from the prestigious Belmont University in Nashville, TN with dual degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education K-12. Four Corners Creative is a true community and family and it's a privilege to be the founder of such a wonderful organization.
Caleigh Alessi has two passions in life: the performing arts and kids! So, naturally, teaching and working alongside founder, Kate Meek, at Four Corners Creative has been the perfect opportunity for her. Caleigh grew up in Nashville, TN and received her BFA in Musical Theatre at Belmont University. Since graduating, Caleigh has had the privilege of singing and dancing all over the world on cruise ships and has performed in several theatres across the country. Her favorite role to date was playing Fanny Brice in the musical Funny Girl were she met her husband. Katelyn Somers studied dance at Interlochen Arts Academy and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet from the the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has performed professionally with companies such as Connecticut Ballet, MorDance, CT Theater Dance Company, Arch Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Inc, and Cincinnati Ballet. Katelyn loves teaching and is thrilled to be a part of Four Corners Creative!
is an actor, singer, writer, yoga/fitness instructor, and teaching artist hailing from Southern California. She received her BA in Musical Theatre from American University. Elise has appeared in workshops, tours, and shows around the country. She is the writer and star of the award winning one woman show “Sing, Bibi, Sing!” which chronicles the life of her late grandmother, the actress Bibi Osterwald. Elise is a certified yoga and prenatal yoga instructor with over 300 hours of training. She believes in the power of arts education for its inclusivity and giving young people (especially young girls) powerful and unique voices! Mallory King is originally from Cleveland, OH and has a BFA in Music Theatre Performance with a minor in dance from Western Michigan University. Tours: Annie (Lily, Troika Ent.), Legally Blonde (Serena, NCL). Regional: Fulton Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, Farmers Alley Theatre, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, Mercury Theatre Company. Seneca Lawrence, a native of New Hampshire, grew up dancing since the age of 4. She received conservatory training in ballet and modern at SUNY Purchase, where she graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance. Currently, she performs as a freelance dancer, actress and comedy improviser, appearing in music videos and tv shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Seneca has been a proud FCC instructor since 2015 and is very passionate about spreading love and art to young artists.
Briana Rapa is an actor hailing from the Bay Area of California. She received her BFA in Music Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles before jet setting all over the world as Belle in the Broadway International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Briana has since appeared in regional productions across the US as well as television and commercials. She’s been teaching kiddos the arts since she was a kiddo herself, and adores FCC and all they do for the youngins of NYC! Dana Kreitz, originally from California, received her BA in Stage & Screen Acting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has been seen on stage in a wide range of plays and musicals at regional theatres and Off-Broadway, with some of her favorite roles being Kim in Miss Saigon and Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost. Her TV & Film credits include independent films on Netflix, Amazon & Vudu, as well as on NBC’s Blue Bloods. She lives with her husband and her two perfect cats, Phoebe & Rosalind. And she truly loves being able to encourage and foster movement & creativity in these wonderful children through FCC!!
Melody Wilson (human/storyteller/creative) kicked her way into this world on her own time via bathroom in Tacoma, WA. The musical military brat has lived all around the country and been lucky enough to receive a BA in Stage & Screen Acting @ UNLV, perform at Utah Shakespeare Festival, sing lead for Holland America, be the first Heather Chandler in the NY region, and now teaches kids that being creative & weird is awesome!! She’s written and performed in 2 of her bio-narrative cabarets this past year and is currently writing a musical! Keep your eyes peeled.
Meriel Day is an actor, voiceover artist and acting coach. Born and raised in London where she studied theatre, she now lives in NYC where she focuses on film/television and voiceover work. Her voiceover engagements include CeraVe skincare, Bloomberg Radio and NJIT. She also works as a makeup artist for TV pilots, commercials including Target and Lipstick Lobby, and the Red Carpet. Meriel loves teaching at FCC and remembers the confidence she gained from acting teachers and classes. She hopes she can give her students some of the joy she feels when performing. Brooke Ranson is a dancer, singer, actor, and student at Marymount Manhattan College pursuing a B.A. in Theatre & Film. Her recent credits include NBC Pilot ‘Council of Dads’ (Photo-double) Stranger Things 2 (stand-in for Dustin and Will), and Elm Street Cultural Arts Village in Atlanta, GA. Brooke loves the mission of Four Corners Creative teaching young artists they are brave, strong, and unique!
Dixie Carroll has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and an Associate’s in Musical Theatre from KD Conservatory in Dallas, TX. She has performed in many regional theatre productions in Texas, New York, and New Jersey from Musical Theatre to Shakespeare to Children’s Tours! In addition to Theatre and Film, Dixie has performed as the featured soloist in several operas and oratorios. She has been teaching children in Musical Theatre, Acting, and Dance since 2014, and is overjoyed to teach with FCC now (it’s the highlight of my week)! Alie B. Gorrie
Alie B. Gorrie is an actor, singer, and tap dancer originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to NYC in 2015 after graduating with a BFA in musical theatre from Belmont University. She has performed in numerous musicals in NYC and on the national tour of Seussical as Gertrude McFuzz. She is the co-producer/creator of a new series, ABLE, that aims to break down stereotypes around disability in the entertainment industry. Alie B. also teaches Pilates all over NYC in her spare time. She is so excited to share her love of the arts while empowering the next generation of girls!
Layne Seaman is currently earning her B.A. in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Business at Marymount Manhattan College. She grew up in Annapolis, MD where she performed at several community theatres. Some of her favorite roles include Julia in The Wedding Singer and Campbell in Bring It On! Layne has always had a passion for the performing arts and loves helping to educate the next generation of performers! The mission of Four Corners Creative is one she believes in with a passion and she is so happy to be working for this incredible company.
