Kate Meek’s Adventures on Stage camp is a highlight of our summer. My children have participated for 2 summers and plan to come back for more (in fact, we liked it so much last summer that we signed up for a 2nd week at the end of the summer). Kate and her staff are so warm, encouraging and cheerful my kids would have liked to bring them home every day. My 8 year old has tried different dance classes in the city that are highly regarded -but this is the first dance experience (that also included drama and singing) where she completely threw herself into it and had a blast. I’m so glad to have found a kid- appropriate but excellent program where my children can learn from professionals and have fun acting, singing and dancing. AOS is very high on fun factor and personal attention and support for every child. They know how to help kids have a blast while they achieve new heights – and to do so in a way that honors and respects others in the process – and that’s worth a million!

This camp is absolutely wonderful. Kate Meek has done a great job of creating one week long drama camp sessions that include song, dance, a chance ot learn to act, arts and crafts and so much more all in a fun, safe, creative and wholesome environment. Not only do the children learn the skills I mentioned, but they are also taught that their character, who they are and who they are becoming, is as important (if not more!) as their abilities. Kate and her professional crew are building on what we are teaching our girls at home. Do not pass this camp up for another, glossier, bells and whistles camp. AOS is still small so it’s the perfect time for your child to experience such personalized attention. The staff Kate hires are all fantastic role models and the kind of women I would love my young daughters to follow. Can’t say enough!!!

My daughter has attended this camp for two summers and will be there again this summer. Kate Meek as put together an incredible program, and has an amazing group of counselors. The program is top notch and there is nothing else like it in the city. The combination of singing and dancing, teamwork and enthusiasm is just incredible. The confidence and pride in the campers at the end of each week is truly amazing. My daughter practically ran to camp each morning- she could not wait to get there everyday. If your child has an interest in singing, dancing, acting, performing and just having FUN in a warm community environment-this camp is for you.
